Narrative
On May 3, 2026, at approximately 3:00 a.m., Massachusetts State Police troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 northbound near Exit 3 in Milton, Massachusetts, in which a white passenger car left the roadway and crashed into the woods, becoming partially submerged in water.
All five occupants of the vehicle were injured and transported to local hospitals; the driver sustained the most serious injuries, reported as critical. A large emergency response was mounted, including police, fire, EMS, and the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, and the on-ramp from Blue Hill River Road to I-93 north was temporarily closed before being reopened.
