On Sunday, May 17, 2026, at approximately 3:52 p.m., Massachusetts State Police, along with Marlborough fire and EMS, responded to a multi-vehicle crash on I-495 southbound in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The crash involved three passenger vehicles and two motorcycles.
Both motorcycle riders sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. One of the riders was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, while the highway was temporarily closed before being reopened.
