Narrative
On Monday, July 13, 2026, at approximately 11:53 a.m., Dartmouth Police and Massachusetts State Police were dispatched to the area of 832 State Road (Route 6) near the intersection of Reed Road in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, following a 911 call reporting a crash involving a bicycle and a dump truck.
Upon arrival, officers located a dump truck pulled to the right side of the road and a 74-year-old female cyclist who was pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck operator remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
