Narrative
On June 24, 2026, a fiery multi-vehicle crash occurred on the Mass Pike (I-90) eastbound at mile marker 82.1, near Exit 81, in Charlton, Massachusetts. Sky5 aerial footage showed a completely burned-out vehicle being towed from the scene, along with a second vehicle sustaining visible rear and side bumper damage. Crews were observed sweeping and hosing ashes from the roadway as the eastbound lanes were closed to traffic.
