Narrative
On Saturday, June 27, 2026, just before midnight, Massachusetts State Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 93 northbound, before Exit 15A, in Boston. Antone Carvalho, 81, of Somerset, MA, is accused of driving southbound in the northbound lanes, resulting in head-on collisions with three vehicles.
The crash resulted in the death of a Haverhill man. The full extent of additional injuries and vehicle damage to the other involved parties has not yet been disclosed.
