Narrative
On the evening of Friday, June 5, 2026, a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of South Street East and Hill Street in Raynham, Massachusetts, when 22-year-old Jacob Larsen allegedly crossed into oncoming traffic in his Ford Explorer and struck 52-year-old Scott Piche, who was traveling on his motorcycle.
Scott Piche was killed as a result of the collision. Larsen, whose license was suspended at the time due to a prior OUI charge from January 2026 in which he allegedly failed field sobriety tests and registered a .12 on a portable breathalyzer, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle homicide and negligence.
Larsen appeared in Taunton District Court on June 8, 2026, where a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf and bail was set at $25,000 with surety. Full details are developing.
