Narrative
On Friday, May 29, 2026, a serious multi-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 95 in Stafford County, Virginia, involving a bus and six other vehicles. Survivor Rhonda Wright reported she was jolted awake by the impact, stating the bus was traveling at a very high rate of speed before striking the first vehicle, followed by a rapid succession of additional collisions.
The crash resulted in five fatalities and dozens of injuries, prompting authorities to declare the incident a Mass Casualty Incident. The bus was observed skidded off to the side of the interstate following the collision.
