Narrative
On Wednesday, May 2026, a black BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe (or possibly an i4) veered off the roadway on Route 3 North in Massachusetts, crossed a wide grassy median separating opposing lanes of traffic, and entered the oncoming lanes, causing a multi-vehicle collision. Dashcam footage from one of the involved vehicles captured the BMW narrowly missing a silver SUV before striking the dashcam-equipped car. Aerial images released by WCVB confirmed that an Acura Integra, an orange Honda Fit, and a black sedan were also caught in the crash zone.
One person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the dashcam vehicle, who had only purchased the car in October, was returning home from work at the time of the crash.
Local authorities responded to the scene and an investigation is underway. Full details are developing.
