Narrative
On Monday, April 27, 2026, at approximately 4:45 a.m., a serious two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Alewife Brook Parkway and Matignon Road in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene, where at least one of the vehicles involved left the roadway and struck a tree.
Both drivers sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Alewife Brook Parkway was closed in both directions between Mass Ave and Broadway following the crash.
