Narrative
On June 29, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Nantucket Police Department officers and fire officials responded to a reported motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Upon arrival, responders located a female pedestrian, later identified as 62-year-old Stacey J. Rosen of Atlantic Beach, underneath one of two vehicles involved in the collision.
Rosen was transported to a hospital where she subsequently died from her injuries. Following the investigation, 62-year-old Kathleen M. Featherston of Fairfield, Connecticut was charged by the Nantucket Police Department with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle homicide due to negligent driving.
