Narrative
On Thursday, July 9, 2026, just before 3:30 p.m., a blue Toyota RAV4 crashed through the glass front of Beijo Beauty salon, located at 110 Newbury St. in Danvers, Massachusetts. The salon was fully occupied at the time, with all six styling chairs in use, and witnesses described the impact as sounding like a bomb going off, with at least one client thrown from her chair upon impact.
Three women inside the salon sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The driver, also a woman, was not reported to be physically injured and was described by witnesses as frantic and apologetic at the scene.
